We want to raise €25,000 via the crowdfunding campaign. But what do we actually need the money for? What are the plans and how should the upcoming time for Goodgive look like?
The money from the crowdfunding campaign on Startnext will go entirely towards our production for this Christmas. We have already used our equity to pre-finance the organic cotton fabrics and bows made from recycled PET bottles that we need for this. In doing so, we had to stick to certain minimum purchase quantities, which is why we have a lot of sustainable materials at the moment, but unfortunately no finished products. So our budget has almost completely gone into our fabrics and bows.
The material is now waiting to be processed. So far we have had four partner workshops that have already sewn for us and will continue to make goodgives. In addition to them, about ten other workshops for people with disabilities have become familiar with our sustainable gift packaging. They are familiar with the processing and could also start production immediately. Unfortunately, we currently lack the necessary capital to finally release the orders.
We sew our sustainable gift boxes in social workshops.
This is exactly where the money from the crowdfunding campaign comes in. Since we will probably not generate revenue with regular sales until Advent, but before that the workshops have to be paid, we need the financial resources from the pre-orders and other thank-you gifts to bridge the time until December.
So this year, we want to ensure a greener Christmas with sustainable gifts all around. To achieve this goal, we need your support! If you want to wrap your gifts sustainably this Christmas, you would help us a lot by pre-ordering the Goodgives via the crowdfunding campaign.
The crowdfunding campaign runs until 04.10. In addition to 25% off our reusable gift boxes, we've put together goodgives filled with sustainable products for you, among other things. The perfect sustainable Christmas gift - in our opinion. 😊 Included are products from beeGoodies, BRACENET, EcoFinia, einhorn products, for.us, littlelunch, Oh Honey!, pandoo, PATRON SOCKS, Saatgutkonfetti, and TeeGeschwendtner.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far and those who will. Only together with you we will create a more sustainable Christmas this year!
